Lithium silicate-based mixed surface impregnation material "Inner Protect"

Suppress alkali-silica reaction (ASR) and prevent internal cracking.

In recent years, there have been reports of cases in Hokkaido where concrete cracking, previously thought to be due to salt damage or freeze damage, was actually caused by alkali-silica reaction. The Inner Protect product from Aimus, when applied to the surface of concrete, penetrates from the surface and generates insoluble gel within the microcracks and voids of the concrete, even at a depth of 40mm. This prevents water intrusion into the concrete's interior, thereby protecting against freeze damage, salt damage, and deterioration of the concrete from within due to alkali-silica reaction.

Reactive silicate mixed-type surface impregnation material 'L-OSMO Reactive SG'

Contributing to the preventive maintenance and longevity of concrete structures, both new and existing. The origin of the L-OSMO series, which started sales in 2005. (Formerly OSMO)

L-OSMO Reaction Type SG is a reactive silicate-based surface impregnation material that contributes to the preventive maintenance and longevity of concrete structures. (Contains lithium silicate, sodium silicate, and potassium silicate) By densifying the surface layer of concrete and sealing cracks of 0.2mm or less, it suppresses the progression of deterioration and reduces lifecycle costs. It has reactivity with calcium hydroxide, allowing for long-term modification effects. Although it is a reactive type, it still provides a modification effect on concrete that has undergone carbonation, although not as effective as "L-OSMO Solidified Type KK." There is no change in appearance after application, and any deformation of the concrete can be visually confirmed. Reapplication is easy, and it can be used in conjunction with other methods. Preventive maintenance and longevity measures can be achieved on a low budget. No special qualifications are required, and the application can be done quickly and easily. It is also effective in areas with low applicability of silane-based surface impregnation materials, such as water accumulation points and cracked areas. *Due to the increase in product lineup in 2023, the name has been changed from "OSMO" to "L-OSMO Reaction Type SG."
